【日英対訳】北原白秋「五十音」(その7)"The sounds of the Japanese syllabary (Part-7)"by Hakushuu KITAHARA

蝸牛(まいまい)螺旋巻(ねじまき)、
マ、ミ、ム、メ、モ。
梅(うめ)実(み)落ちてもない

My dear winding snail, master of swirling,
MA, MI, MU, ME, MO.
Maybe you don't see an ume falling.

[Here is the Roma-ji version for typing with Japanese IME]
maimai, nejimaki,
ma, mi, mu, me, mo.
umenomi ochitemo mimoshinai.

[NOTE]  (1)"maimai" in kanji "蝸牛" can be typed by typing "katatsumuri” with Japanese IME
(2)"nejimaki" in kanji "螺旋巻" can be typed by separating in two, like, "neji" and "maki"
